Child Photographer, Greenville, SC {Kiley’s 1st Birthday!}

One of the neatest part of my job is that I get to share moments in families’ lives that they’ll remember forever – capturing these memories within my camera. I’m usually experiencing the first few days of life with my newborn clients, but this session was during another big milestone… a 1st Birthday!

Meet Miss Kiley. It took her a little while to warm up to the camera, as she gave me some pretty serious looks for the first half of the sessions. However, once we brought out her pink polka dotted cupcake, the smiles kept coming! She was covered in icing and ate almost every piece of her cupcake (including crumbs that fell in the grass!!), so we plopped her in a bubble bath and let her splash around. I so enjoyed meeting this family and sharing this time. I’m so excited that Kiley’s mommy and daddy decided to get a gallery wrapped canvas of this first image – there’s nothing more flattering to a photographer than to know that a client is displaying their portrait as art in their home. Portraits ARE art!
