Newborn sessions are ideally scheduled before the baby arrives! Contact me as soon as possible to secure a tentative date in my schedule for one week following your due date. This date will be 100% flexible according to when your little one arrives, but allows me to plan accordingly and secure time in my calendar for your newborn’s session.
Newborn sessions are held in my newborn studio between 5-10 days old.

My newborn has developed baby acne and flaky skin; Should we reschedule?
Some newborns develop baby acne and dry skin within the 5-10 day old window. It’s 100% okay if this happens. There is no need to reschedule. This is part of your baby’s newness!
What if my baby makes a “mess” on your things without a diaper on?
I’ve seen it all! Chances are your little one is going to “relieve” himself/herself on my blankets. This is okay! Everything is washable and will go straight to the washing machine after the session.
Are pictures with us as a family included in a newborn session?
At your request, any sibling and family shots will be done at the beginning of the session. Typically, family portraits are done on a black background.
Can I bring my own props or hats?
Please do! I love incorporating things that are special to you and your family.
I love a picture that I saw on your website. Can you do that same one with my baby?
I’m happy to do my best to accommodate any requests you have. However, please know that I swap out props and things frequently to keep each session unique and new. If I still have the setup that you’ve seen a picture of, I’m happy to recreate that for you. Please make this request before your session date.
