Newborn Photographer, Greenville SC {Big Updates & Little Newborn Sessions!}

So, it has been almost two months since my last blog update. What in sweet peas was I thinking?? My deepest apologies folks! I’m back, and I’m determined to keep up with all the hustle and bustle.

This first post (post hiatus) is all about the sweet babies that have brought me numerous smiles over the last few months. During this time as I’ve met each of these families, Lindsey Motley Photography has gone through TWO big accomplishments and changes:

I celebrated my first year of business! Hooray!

The newborn studio has moved! I now share a studio space with Vino & Van Gogh Greenville on Augusta Street. We are located next to Augusta Grill and Scratch. Come visit! I’m usually only there by appointment or chance, but stop in and see my display, meet Marquin Campbell of V&VG, shop through all of the creative artwork and Chouette Jewelry. I’m so excited to be surrounded by such creativity!

Since November I have had 18 newborn boys and girls come visit me – each on of them bringing a uniqueness to their special session. One sweet girl was the first baby born in South Carolina in 2012! One little boy was a Leap Year baby! I also had a set of twin girls in the studio! Below, I have shared one image from each newborn session with you. Know that every one of these images is really so special to me… it may be the curl of a finger, sweet rolls of baby chunk, or the fuzzy hair – every baby holds a very special memory and place in my heart. I will remember all of these sweet babes forever. My husband thinks it’s crazy that I am able to look at every image and know exactly who I’m looking at.

I am so thankful that these families have shared this time with me. For some, it’s the very first venture out of the house to come to my newborn studio! I feel incredibly blessed to have met each and every one of you. Thank you for your support and friendship. I am greatly looking forward to watching your little bundle of joy grow!

Newborn Photographer, Greenville, SC {Miss Lorelei – 8 days old!}

Sweet little Lorelei came to visit me in the studio at just 8 days old. She was one cutie patootie and slept so soundly. I love all the shots that she let me pose her in. She’s a born Clemson fan, so of course, we used her very own headband and tutu that her mommy packed along for her session! Enjoy these sweet images… I sure have!

This precious family drove all the way from Asheville only 6 DAYS after having their little bundle of joy! What a treat this was for me! Meet little Willow Pearl. She’s a beauty and a superstar. Newborn Photography, Greenville SC {Meet Emmylou – 13 days old!}

If her name doesn’t just make you melt, these newborn portraits will. I love it when clients refer me to their friends and I loved meeting this sweet family. Emmylou came to my newborn studio at 13-days-old. We had a wonderful session together and I’m so excited to share them with you. Welcome to the world, sweet Emmylou! (On a side note: Emmylou has a dog named Amos and he is a Springer Spaniel just like Avett! Isn’t he cute too?!?)
