Little Mary Elizabeth :: Newborn Photographer Greenville SC :: Lindsey Motley Photography

Well, this little gal made me work hard. In fact, she came to the studio TWICE for her newborn session. icon smile Little Mary Elizabeth :: Newborn Photographer Greenville SC :: Lindsey Motley Photography I always tell parents that their little baby will be the one dictating how the session runs, and sweet Mary Elizabeth definitely proved my point.  I’ll never let a newborn be unhappy at the studio, and M.E. was content as can be, but she just wasn’t sleepy! (LMP’s studio is pretty exciting, so can you blame her?!?) We spent a little time together, trying to lull that sweet sack of sugar into a deep sleep with no luck. I’m so glad that she came back to visit me the next day… look how precious she is! I’m so excited that she’s a Baby Bundle client. I get to watch her grow!

Mary Elizabeth also has a one-year-old sister, Olivia.  I can tell they’re going to be best buddies! Look how sweet they are together. Stay tuned… Miss Olivia had her very own birthday session a couple of weeks after M.E.’s. She’ll be coming to the blog soon!

Thanks to these pretty girls’ parents for letting me capture such sweet moments in your lives.  :)

Sweet Baby Leenie :: Greenville SC Newborn Photographer :: Lindsey Motley Photography

Well, I’ll have to say she has the cutest name ever. And I’ll also have to say that she has the sweetest parents ever. I may be a little biased, as we’re also buddies and neighbors, but she’s really too darn cute! Meet my little friend, Leenie.

11 days old and cute as pie.

Every newborn session is so fun for me – they all bring their own uniqueness to the studio… long fingers, curly hair, etc. This girl – she had the cutest squishiest cheeks. I couldn’t get enough! Check out the awesome peach basket that her mommy brought with them. This is Leenie’s toy basket in her nursery, but it’s also a family keepsake. Precious.

Newborn Photographer, Greenville SC {Big Updates & Little Newborn Sessions!}

So, it has been almost two months since my last blog update. What in sweet peas was I thinking??  My deepest apologies folks!  I’m back, and I’m determined to keep up with all the hustle and bustle.

This first post (post hiatus) is all about the sweet babies that have brought me numerous smiles over the last few months.  During this time as I’ve met each of these families, Lindsey Motley Photography has gone through TWO big accomplishments and changes:

  • I celebrated my first year of business! Hooray!
  • The newborn studio has moved! I now share a studio space with Vino & Van Gogh Greenville on Augusta Street. We are located next to Augusta Grill and Scratch.  Come visit! I’m usually only there by appointment or chance, but stop in and see my display, meet Marquin Campbell of V&VG, shop through all of the creative artwork and Chouette Jewelry. I’m so excited to be surrounded by such creativity!
  • Since November I have had 18 newborn boys and girls come visit me – each on of them bringing a uniqueness to their special session.  One sweet girl was the first baby born in South Carolina in 2012!  One little boy was a Leap Year baby!  I also had a set of twin girls in the studio! Below, I have shared one image from each newborn session with you.  Know that every one of these images is really so special to me… it may be the curl of a finger,  sweet rolls of baby chunk, or the fuzzy hair – every baby holds a very special memory and place in my heart.  I will remember all of these sweet babes forever.  My husband thinks it’s crazy that I am able to look at every image and know exactly who I’m looking at.

I am so thankful that these families have shared this time with me. For some, it’s the very first venture out of the house to come to my newborn studio! I feel incredibly blessed to have met each and every one of you. Thank you for your support and friendship. I am greatly looking forward to watching your little bundle of joy grow!
